The Dragonfly Dreams stamp set features in the new Occasions Catalogue and has coordinating thinlits dies. This new catalogue goes live in two days on Wednesday 4th January. Today’s post is giving you a sneak peek of some of the exciting things coming soon. One of the perks of a Demonstrator is that we get to see things ahead of time and can purchase them early! I love this stamp set and can see lots of potential with it!
Originally I made the card in Island Indigo. This one doesn’t have a sentiment on it.
This card was cased from Carolyn King, although I swapped the colours around. She had a coloured card base and a small Whisper White square to which the dragonfly was adhered to. I made this for a swap, but only had limited coloured cardstock in Island Indigo, so I decided to use the Thick Whisper White cardstock as my base and add some colour behind the dragonfly. I liked the way I could stamp the top and bottom of the card with the dotted pattern too.
I then decided to try it in Sweet Sugarplum, one of my favouite In Colours.
Did you also notice the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies? Don’t they look great on the card?
This may be one of the make ‘n takes at my new. If you had the choice, which colour would you prefer to make, Island Indigo or Sweet Sugarplum? Please answer in the comments below.
