I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has supported me this year. Thank you for being part of this blog, my mailing list, coming to my classes, and/or purchasing from me. I love what I do and I am grateful that I can share this with you. I appreciate you all!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas – I hope are having a lovely day with family, friends, good food and fun times. I hope also take some time to remember what Christmas is all about! #Jesusreasonforseason
Here is a Night of Bethlehem card to wish you a Merry Christmas.
I stamped the row of buildings in the front in Crumb Cake ink and then I stamped it again just above and slightly to one side, then a third time. I only inked the stamp when I stamped it the first time. I stamped again with what ink was left and so that gave me the lighter colours. I did make quite a few of these cards and over time I figured out a few ways to get the best results.
This card was cased from Laura Borchert.
How to best stamp the row of buildings:
Tip One: Make sure your ink pad isn’t too juicy. If it is, dab it gently with a paper towel to remove some of the excess ink.
Tip Two: I got the best stamping results when I stamped with the Stampin’ Piercing Mat underneath my Whisper White cardstock. I also held the stamp down for a few seconds to make sure the ink had enough time to soak into the cardstock.
I wanted a simple Christmas card that I could mass produce and one that made us think about the real reason for Christmas. I love this stamp set! This was not an original card. This card is cased from Laura Borchert, but I chose to put the sentiment at the top.
Here is the inside of the card:
Product List
For this card I didn’t use the coordinating Bethlehem Edgelits Dies, but if you do like this stamp set, now is a great time to purchase them as a bundle as you get 10% off. After Tuesday 2nd January this will no longer be offered as a bundle.
Thank you again for all your support this year.
