This Christmas Ornament was made from a pizza box and features the So Santa and Waterfront stamp sets. This was the project that my team, Nicolette, Kathryn and I, taught at the recent Auckland Christmas Extravaganza.
We were inspired by other creations we had seen of a Christmas ornament in a pizza box and using Christmas stamps, but we wanted it to depict the summer Christmas that we have here in New Zealand. The So Santa stamp set is perfect for this!
They first had to colour the box, using an aqua painter and Granny Apple Green ink. The square was cut out first.
The Santa and Sand were stamped and coloured with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. The background was stamped using the Waterfront.
To create the palm tree for Santa to stand under we used the leaves from the Tropical Thinlits Dies. The tree trunk was embossed with the Subtles folder to give it some texture.
