Today’s cards feature a copper dragonfly cut out of the Copper Foil Sheets using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies. I think it looks quite stunning on these two cards. The cards are the same layout, but I have given some variation with a different coloured card base for each card.
Here is a close up of one of a copper dragonfly.
Here is the card with a Rich Razzleberry card base.
This second card has a Basic Black card base. I couldn’t decide if I should include a sentiment, so I left it off. What do you think? Do you think it needs one? If so, where could I put it?
I like to coordinate the envelopes too, so I stamped on the envelope as well as the inside of the card.
The Dragonflies in the background are stamped from the coordinating stamp set Dragonfly Dreams. I used Sahara Sand ink to stamp them. Depending on how inky your ink pad is, you can either stamp them straight on to the Whisper White cardstock, or if you would like the a little lighter in colour, then stamp off first before stamping on your cardstock. This card was cased from Claire Daly, but I changed the colours a little.
Which is your favourite of these two cards? Please leave a comment and let me know. Read on and I’ll let you know at the end which one I prefer.
The Occasions Catalogue is now here, so you can order this stamp set and dies if you would like to. Remember if you order it as a bundle you save 10%!

My favourite card is the Rich Razzleberry one! I hope the copper dragonfly has inspired you with your creations.
