Sorry that today’s post is a little late. Today’s tip is Mini Glue Dots. There are a very useful adhesive. They are a small dot of glue. They are an adhesive that has no fumes, no mess, no drying time and it can hold heavier embellishments. I use them a lot for adhering buttons or other embellishments to cards. There are 300 dots in a packet and they are 3/16″ in diameter.
Recently I found them very useful to use when I had to adhere the ears to my Easter Curvy Keepsake Rabbit Box. After making about a dozen of these rabbits and getting frustrated as I tried to hold the ears in place on a curved-shaped box while the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive dried, I remembered that Mini Glue Dots would probably work quite well. I just added a glue dot to the lower part of the ear, below the crease and it adhered straight away. No holding or waiting for glue to dry! It made them so much easier to make. I wished I had thought of it earlier.
