I love the five new 2017-2019 In Colors. The new In Colors are Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil. I want to say I have a favourite, but I like them all.
At my Open Home Event last weekend, I shared the new In Colors with my customers and they got to make a monochromatic card featuring one of the new In Colors. They could make it in either Fresh Fig or Berry Burst. The other three In Colors were used on another card which I will also share with you sometime in the next few days.
Here are the cards they were able to make:
I cut a piece of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper to fit the front of the card, allowing for a slight border . I then cut the piece in half. The top half of the card has one side of the paper, and the bottom half the other. I have covered the join with a strip of Whisper White cardstock and a slightly smaller piece of In Color cardstock on top of this which has been textured embossed with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the new Label Me Pretty Stamp Set and punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch. I adhered the ribbon to the card first with a couple of Glue Dots and then adhered the sentiment with the new Mini Dimensionals over the top.
Here is a close up of each. The first one is in Berry Burst.
Here it is in Fresh Fig:
I have cased today’s card, but sorry I can’t remember who designed it.
