Today’s card features the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP), the Golden Garden Acetate and the Gilded Leafing which are all part of the Fine Art Floral Suite. This card has been cased from the January – June Mini Catalogue. You may recognise it from the front cover!
The card base is either Calypso Coral or Flirty Flamingo cardstock, depending on which Fine Art Floral DSP was used. I stamped some flowers on the background in the matching ink colour and then texture embossed the piece with the Painted Textures 3D embossing folder.
I carefully adhered a coordinating piece of the Golden Garden Acetate on top of the DSP. The gold outlines the flowers and leaves on the paper. I used a sparing amount of Liquid Multipurpose Glue to adhere the acetate to the DSP. The gold frame surrounding the DSP was cut out from the Stitched Rectangle dies. The gold is the Gilded Leafing Embellishment adhered to the frame.
To finish off the card, I added a sentiment and some ribbon. The sentiment is from the Art Gallery stamp set. As well as the beautiful flowers in the stamp set, there are also a wonderful range of sentiments. There are two coordinating Floral Gallery dies – one short and one long – which are perfect for cutting out the sentiments .
