The technique featured on these cards is sandpapering glimmer paper. Have you ever heard of this or given it a try? It looks really effective! Check out these two cards below.
These cards were designed by Jacque Williams for our Extravaganza event which was an online event this year since it couldn’t be held in person.
The glimmer paper used in the background of the card is the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.
The glimmer paper is dry embossed with the snowflake design from the Wintry Embossing Folder. After that I gently sandpapered it to bring out the design.
The small die-cut white trees featured on the front of the card are cut from the Christmas Tree dies. These dies will be retiring on the 3rd January 2022, but may sell out before then.
The white and black ribbon and the white die-cut trees look quite striking against the colourful glimmer paper.
