Today’s card is an adorable reindeer card. It showcases the Reindeer Fun Bundle, which includes both stamps and dies. There are so many fun dies in this set – from deer, bells, and presents to bows! What’s special about that set is that it has two different types of deer dies: one set to cut out a stamped deer, and another set of three dies that layer together to create an adorable reindeer face. For today’s project, I used the layered reindeer face, and it turned out so cute!
For this card, I also used the circle die with the foliage detail. You can decide whether to have the leaves at the top or the bottom of the circle. If the leaves are at the top, you’ll see more of the reindeer. If the leaves are at the bottom, it frames the reindeer through the foliage. It’s totally up to you – either option works beautifully!
Assembling the reindeer was surprisingly easy. I cut all three pieces at once: the bottom layer in Early Espresso, the middle layer in Very Vanilla, and the top layer in Pecan Pie. Then I simply adhered them together – it was so quick and fun!
To add a little more interest, I stamped some stars on the top layer of my card. It gives the card a festive feel and really makes it stand out!
I completed the card with two gold die-cut bells, a die-cut Real Red bow, a sentiment, and a few Earth Tones Shimmer Gems. These details really brought everything together.
I made two different versions of this card. The second card doesn’t have stars – instead, I added a soft splatter effect for a more subtle background. You can see both cards below. Which version do you prefer? If you’d like to see exactly how I created the splatter and assembled the card, be sure to check out the video below!
