Today’s post features a Flower Card with Gilded Leafing and I have a video showing you how I made it!
The background of the card is Pool Party cardstock has been texture embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Gold ribbon was wrapped around it and then it was adhered to a Blackberry Bliss card base.
The flower petals were stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. The next layer was stamped in VersaMark ink and then Heat & Stick Powder was applied. This was heat set with the Heat Tool. Then then Gold Gilded Leafing was applied to it.
The leaf and stem of the flower was stamped in Old Olive ink. The flower and stem were cut out with the dies. As these are small, I used the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.
The flower was adhered with Diemsnioanls and the stem was ahderd with Liquid Multipurpose Glue to the card front.
Lastly Happy Birthday was stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut out with a die from the same die set. IT was adhered with Dimensionals.
Watch the video below and see step by step, how I made this card and how I used the gold gilded leafing.
