Beautiful Butterflies Card Inspiration
Cardmaking is all about creativity, and sometimes, a simple colour change can completely transform a design! Last week in my live, I shared three versions of the same card layout using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. These dies coordinate perfectly with the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set, which you can actually get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration!
For these cards, I haven’t used the butterfly stamp on the front, but it makes a great addition to the inside of the card or the envelope for a beautifully coordinated look. It’s a simple touch that ties everything together!
Three Colour Combinations for Unique Card Looks
I experimented with three stunning colour combos to show how a single card layout can take on a whole new feel:
💛 Yellow – Peach Pie card base
💖 Pink – Melon Mambo card base
💜 Purple – Blackberry Bliss card base
To add texture and dimension, I used the Beautiful Butterflies Embossing Folder to dry emboss a piece of Basic White, creating a subtle butterfly pattern in the background. I then layered it onto the Bloom Impressions DSP piece, hiding where the butterfly had been die-cut from. This is a great way to be economical with your paper while still achieving a beautifully layered look!
