Today’s featured stamp set is the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterfly Thinlit Dies. This was the stamp set that I featured over a month ago when I first started this new feature. I love the coordinating stamp set and dies and have used them so much, so I am going to feature it again this week, so you can see lots more uses for it.
These cards are one of the cards that I taught at my class on Sunday afternoon. I am repeating this class on the morning of Friday 24th April and also doing an evening class on Tuesday 28th April. If you are interested in coming, check out my blog here for more details.
The colours I have used in these cards are the 2013-2015 In Colors/Colours. These colours will be retiring at the end of this year’s annual catalogue on 2nd June. However, quite often stocks can run out before this date. If you really like these colours, make sure you purchase any cardstock, ink pads, ink refills, ribbon etc now, before it is all gone. If you have the ink pads for these colours, make sure you buy the reinkers now as these are one of the first things to sell out. The In Colors cardstock and ink pad pack is great value. Only $57.95 (plus shipping) for a pack of mixed cardstock and all five ink pads. It is like buying all five ink pads and getting the cardstock for free!
I will be putting in an order tomorrow night, so please let me know by then (by 8pm) and I can place your order, or alternatively you can order online. The retiring list will also be coming out tomorrow, so check out my blog. Some product will be discounted, up to 50% off the retail price.
If you are ordering online, I would encourage you to use a my current Hostess Code, CVRKSDM6. If you order online and use the Hostess Code, or order through me any time from now until the new catalogue starts (2nd June), you will go into the draw to win a stamp set from my prize basket. Orders over $50 can also earn Loyalty Card points.

If you would like to see what else I made with the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterfly Framelit Dies, check out these previous blog posts.
Two cards the same but different
The video featured the Blendabilities Markers which are no longer available. You could do a similar card, but instead after you have adhered the butterfly to vellum you could colour it with Stampin’ Markers, but just colour it on the back instead.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are inspired by these creations.
