Here is a quick and easy carrot shaped Easter treat bag. This is a great little treat bag for some mini Easter eggs or other Easter treats. This video tutorial is something I shared a couple of years ago. Some of the products are no longer available, so in this blog post I will share some ideas of what else you could use.
To make the carrot shaped Easter treat bag you will need a piece of orange 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a few small pieces of green cardstock, scissors, stapler and something you can score with. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) used below is no longer available, If you look in your supplies you may find some orange DSP that you can use. Otherwise find some fairly neutral DSP and sponge or brayer it in an orange ink that you have like, Tangerine Tango or Pumpkin Pie.
You will notice that in the video that I used Fringe scissors to create the leafy bit at the top. These are no longer available so you can use Paper Snips to cut the leafy part.
I used the “Happy Easter” sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set. The Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set has a huge variety of sentiments so you always have the right sentiment for any occasion.
The oval punch I used in the video is also no longer available, so the smallest oval die in the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies would be great to use for this.
This Easter treat bag was cased from Janet Holmes.
Here is a video showing you how I made it.
