The Centre Easel Step Card was the second card that I taught at my class in August. It featured the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper [DSP]. It is a simple design, but it looks very effective.
For this card, only the centre section stands up like an easel. The message is then written on the back of the card.
When the ladies at my class saw this card, they thought it would be quite difficult to make. But once they knew where to cut and score, they realised that it was fairly straightforward to make. A great feature about this card is that it lies flat so that you can put it in an envelope!
The Mosaic Mood DSP is a beautiful paper because of its textured feature, which really adds to this card.
There is very little stamping on this card. The sentiment is the only stamping that is done. The sentiment has been punched out with the Everyday Label punch and the edges sponged. You may be able to tell from the photo above that the happy birthday sentiment has been adhered with Dimensionals. This gives the easel section something to rest against.
This card was cased from one of my team members Nicolette.
Product ListThe sunburst card was the other card that we made at the class. This featured a different Designer Series Paper. It was a masculine card. You can see it here.
