Quick and Easy Changing Leaves Card

By | 28 August 2024

Today, I’m excited to share a card featuring the Changing Leaves embossing folder from the new bundle. To create this card, I started by embossing the Basic White background with the Changing Leaves embossing folder, which adds beautiful texture to the card. I then matted the embossed piece onto Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhered it to a Basic White card base made from thick cardstock for added durability.

For the focal point, I stamped the large leaf from the set in Mossy Meadow ink on a scrap of Basic White and cut it out using the coordinating die. I added the leaf to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a bit of lift and dimension. For the sentiment, I used a longer die to cut out the stamped sentiment, but with a little trick, I shortened the die-cut by running it through again, allowing me to resize it to fit the sentiment perfectly. Be sure to watch the video to see exactly how I did it.

As a final touch, I added some twine and rhinestones that I coloured with Stampin’ Blends. It’s a simple yet elegant card, and quite easy to put together once you have your supplies.

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing another card using the hybrid embossing folder from this bundle, which brings even more exciting possibilities to your card-making!
