Elevate Your Card Making with Cake Celebrations Dies
The week before, I used the Cake Celebrations Stamp Set to create some simple stamped cards. This week, I stepped things up a notch by incorporating the Cake Celebrations Dies to bring more dimension and texture to the designs. These dies allow you to build a layered cake, complete with icing, candles, and even an elegant cake stand!
Choosing the Perfect Colour Combination
One of the best things about these dies is that you can mix and match colours to create all kinds of cakes! Here are a few of the variations I experimented with:
Lemon Cake – A soft Lemon Lolly base with Daffodil Delight icing, paired with a Gray Granite cake stand.
Chocolate Cake – A rich Early Espresso base with Crumb Cake layers, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Berry Cake – A combination of Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst for a fun and fruity feel.

Quick and Easy Assembly
While the die cuts may seem intricate, they’re surprisingly easy to put together! Once you’ve cut out the cake pieces, it’s just a matter of layering them with adhesive. You can even add embossed backgrounds and dimensionals for extra depth.
For my birthday card design, I added candles using the coordinating stamps, making it a true celebration card! If you prefer a more elegant style, you can swap the candles for floral embellishments and turn it into a wedding or anniversary card.
