This card features a daisy flower background stamped in Highland Heather ink. It is created with the flower from the Hello Ladybug stamp set. The card also features the Ladybug stamped in Black Memento and Real Red ink and punched out with the Ladybug Builder punch.
To create the background, I first stamped the daisy flower. Before reinking the stamp, I stamped another flower to give the stamping off effect and so that the second flower was lighter. This is how some flowers are darker and others are lighter. I continued doing this until I covered the base piece. The centre of the flowers were stamped in Daffodil Delight. On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the leaf in Granny Apple Green ink, the wings in Real Red ink and the ladybug body and spots on the wings in Black Memento ink. The leaf was fussy cut with Paper Snips. The ladybug body and wings were cut out with the punch.
I stamped the “My Friend” sentiment on a strip of Basic White cardstock and adhered it to a slightly larger piece of Highland Heather cardstock and then adhered it to the card front.
The leaf was adhered to the card front with Dimensional. I adhered the ladybug body with Liquid Multipurpose Glue to the leaf and attached the wings with Dimensionals.
I stamped a flower inside the card too.
