The Double Slider Card is one that will impress any recipient. The card looks like a normal card when it was closed. Pull the top of the card and the bottom part comes out at the same time too! This is one of the cards that I taught at my classes last week. They were impressed by it and enjoyed making it. They were relieved once they had put it all together and the double slider part worked!
I have used the High Tide stamp set to create the card front and the inside. On the front of the card I stamped the lighthouse and then the sand. I then masked the lighthouse and then stamped the water so it looks like the water is behind it. I shared how to do this as a weekly tip a couple of weeks ago. Here is what happens when you pull the two burlap ribbon (retired). The bottom comes out at the same time, You could write your message on here if you like.
The sentiment that I used for this card is “Happy Birthday’ from the Rose Wonder stamp set. This would also make a wonderful Father’s Day card.
