Last week I wanted to make a card for my daughter’s ballet teacher and I needed enough room for several girls to write a message of thanks. I was inspired by an idea my downline, Kylie had shared with me, a star album/card.
Here is the front of the card. I used the stamp set, Talented Trio, which has a ballerina on it, so perfect for this card. I coloured the ballerina with blender pens.

I used retired Designer Series Paper for the album. I decided to make page inserts for the girls could write on, but I made them a bit smaller than the album pages, so you could see the papers in the background. It was also useful so as the girls could each have a different page to write so they didn’t have to wait for the card to be passed around. The girls could even take thir page home and bring them back to me with their message written on it. All I then had to do was adhere them into the book.
The album pages are a 6″ x 6″ and the page inserts 5″ x 5″. I decorated the pages with stamping and also punched the corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. This is a great punch for just adding a little extra to your page or card.
