Easy Christmas Cards with Christmas Tags and More

By | 24 September 2025

Sometimes Christmas card making can feel overwhelming when time is short and the to-do list is long. That’s why I love the Christmas Tags and More Designer Series Paper—it makes creating easy Christmas cards a breeze. With pre-printed designs, mix-and-match die-cuts, and coordinating colours, most of the hard work is already done for you.

During my recent live video, I shared how simple it is to use these papers to whip up a stack of cards in no time. You can keep them very clean and simple—just trim the paper, add a sentiment, and you’re done. Or, if you’d like to step things up, you can add die-cuts, layers, bows, or even a touch of heat embossing for extra sparkle.

Here is the Christmas Tags & More 6″ X 6″ Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Crumb Cake or Real Red?

One of the fun parts of designing is experimenting with different bases. I created one card on a Crumb Cake base for a softer, neutral look, and another on a Real Red base for something bold and festive. Both work beautifully—it just depends on the mood you’re going for.

Plain Ornaments or With a Bow?

Another variation I shared was using the printed ornament design on its own versus adding a bow die-cut for extra detail. The plain version is perfect for quick, simple cards. But when you pop on a bow, the card instantly feels more stepped-up while still being easy to put together.

Plain Stamping or Stepped-Up with Die-Cuts

You don’t need much to create these cards, but if you’d like to step them up a little, a die-cut sentiment is a great option. For example, on the wreath card, I added a sentiment using the Traditional Labels Bundle. It frames the greeting beautifully and adds extra dimension to the design.

Of course, you can also keep it very simple—like I did on one of the ornament cards—by stamping the sentiment directly onto the card front. Both approaches look lovely, so it really comes down to how much time you have and the style you prefer.
