Today I am sharing with you my favourite five stamp sets from the Occasions Catalogue. There are so many wonderful stamp sets so it is hard to choose!
Here are my favourite five stamp sets:
Number One: Dragonfly Dreams
This is a wonderful stamp set. It is of a nature theme, but it is something a little different from flowers and butterflies which although I like them, appear in a lot of stamp sets.
With this stamp set, I like the way you can stamp the detail of the dragonfly and then with two-step stamping, colour in the wings with ink in a different colour using the solid stamp . You can also do this with the bee. The dotty stamp helps create interesting backgrounds on the cards. The coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies also coordinate so well with this set and bought as a bundle, save 10%.
Number Two: Beautiful You
This is a beautiful stamp set with so much potential. You can colour the image of the lady with the stamps included in the set, or with Stampin’ Up!s new watercolour pencils using either an Aqua Painter or Blender Pen. Check out these simple Note Cards. You can also do paper piercing on the dress. There are so many options.
Another bonus with this stamp set is that there is also a great range of sentiments to go along with the stamped images.
Number Three: High Tide
This is a very tranquil stamp set. Great for masculine cards, and it can be used in so many different ways. Beautiful scenes can be created with this stamp set. It is also an ideal stamp set for trying out the reflection technique. Have you ever tried this?
Number Four: Nailed It
This is a great masculine stamp set, in particular for the handy man, although saying that, it can also be for anyone who enjoys building or fixing things. There are also the coordinating Build It Framelits Dies which make cutting out the stamped image so quick and easy as well as making your card look even more professional. No need to spend time fussy cutting when you can get on with creating. And remember the stamp set and die set bundle, gives you 10% off.
Number Five: Everyday Hero
This is a fun stamp set. It will probably be one the kids will have a lot of fun with, and I’m sure us adults will too. It can be used to make great to make cards for mums and dads and anyone who is hero in your life!

Now, I must admit these five favourite stamp sets may change over time. No doubt, I will still like these ones, but others may move onto my favourites’ list. Sometimes I see a stamp set in the catalogue and it doesn’t really appeal, but when on Pinterest or in Google images, I see what other people create with it, then it becomes one of my favourites too, but as for today, these are my favourite five stamp sets!
