The Floral Romance Double Gate Fold Card was the card that my team made and taught at the Auckland Extravaganza event last month. Kathryn, Sylvia and I taught the guests how to make this card. I enjoyed designing it, and the guests at the event seemed to really like it too!
Here is the front of the card:
And here it is open so that you can see the double gate fold.
We used the 12″ x 12″ cardstock which coordinated with the Floral Romance Speciality Designer Series Paper [DSP]. This sized cardstock was perfect for this card, as an A4 sheet was just 3mm too short to get the folds just right.
The Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies that coordinate with the Floral Romance stamp set is great. One of the dies actually textures the leaves and also cuts them out. The other leaves in Mossy Meadow were stamped and then cut out with the coordinating die too. The fine leaves were just out of foil paper and gave that lovely shine. We used the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets that were available during Sale-A-Bration, but other colours, like gold or copper, would also work well with this card.
Due to the different colours available in the DSP pack, the guests had the following options on how the card front would look.
