Here are some Note Cards featuring the Garden In Bloom Stamp Set that I made for my customers who placed an order with me recently. I love the way you can stamp the outline of the flower, leaves, or butterfly and then “colour it in” by stamping in a slightly lighter colour, or even the same colour.
I then tried it in orange, but I wasn’t so keen on some of the results. Here the the orange flowers.
Two of the cards seemed too bright, so rather than waste the note card, I stamped some pink flowers onto some scrap Whisper White cardstock. I used Blushing Bride ink. I then cut them out with a bit of an edge – so it would be enough to hide any orange from underneath. I adhered them over the top of the orange flowers with Dimensionals. I also stamped the sentiment in Blushing Bride ink and punched it out with the Washi Label Punch and adhered this also with Dimensionals to cover the orange sentiment.
So sometimes we try things and we aren’t happy with it. Remember this is okay, and it gives a chance to make changes to it in some way and create something else!
