A card kit is a great way to start card making. It contains all, or most of, what you need to make a set of cards. Usually there are about two or three different card designs in a card kit, allowing you to make several of the same card.
There are two types of Stampin’ Up! card kits.
- Full Card Kits: These kits have all you need and include a stamp set, clear block, ink spot, card bases, envelopes, die cut pieces, embellishments, twine (if needed), adhesive, and instructions which show you how to make the cards. These kits are great value at $40 (plus shipping), especially as they include a stamp set.
- Pre-printed Card Kits: These kits include card bases, envelopes, die cut pieces, embellishments, twine (if needed), adhesive, and instructions, but they don’t include a stamp set, ink spot, or clear block. Instead, the sentiments are pre-printed. These kits are great value at $25.25 (plus shipping).
