Today I will show you how to cut a banner shape. There are punches that do this which makes it nice and easy, but it you don’t have one, you can cut it with a pair of Paper Snips/scissors.

Step by step instructions:
1. Cut up in the middle of the bottom of the strip of cardstock/Designer Series Paper [DSP] as far up as you want to banner to be.

2. Cut from the left corner to the top of where you just cut.

3. Cut from the right bottom corner to the middle top of where the first piece was cut. The triangle piece should fall out and you have your banner shape.

To make the card below, I had three strips of DSP of different lengths. I cut banners on the bottom of each. I adhered the two outside ones first, then the middle one which features the Rainbow Glimmer Paper. You could adhere this last one directly to the card or with Dimensionals.

Here is a video showing you how to cut a banner shape.
