Today I am going to share a tip showing you how you can get the right coloured patterned paper to match your card or project.
Today I was making a card and I couldn’t find any Designer Series Paper [DSP] or patterned paper in the colour that I needed. I then came up with the idea to colour my own. I wanted a strip of Granny Apple Green DSP to match the leaf that the ladybug is sitting on.
I only needed three things to colour my own paper: black and white DSP/patterned paper, a blending brush and an ink pad in the colour to match the card.
I cut the black and white paper to the right size and sponged it with my ink pad and the blending brush to add colour to it. The more ink I put on, the darker the colour. I needed a piece of Granny Apple Green DSP, so I used the Granny Apple Green ink pad to colour my paper.
Check out this video to see how I coloured my paper so it matched with the project:

Why not colour some black and white patterned patterned paper yourself and then you will have the right coloured patterned paper for your project?
