Christmas Puzzle Cards are a simple, but effective way to make some lovely Christmas cards. When creating this card you end up making three at once which is a bonus!
When making these cards you need three different pieces of patterned paper/Designer Series Paper. You will notice on these cards, that I have used two pieces of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper and the third piece is a texture embossed piece. If you look very carefully you may see some shimmer on the embossed piece. This has been created with Shimmer Paint, Isopropyl Alcohol and a Sprizter. If you would like to learn how to do that, check out this post.
Once you have your three pieces of paper/cardstock you put them on top of each other and carefully cut into them so you end up with three pieces. Then you mix and match the pieces so you have one of each of the three designs on the card front. I then adhered the three pieces to a slightly larger piece of Old Olive cardstock and then onto a Thick Very Vanilla card base.
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment and either die cut or punched it out. You can also add ribbon if you wish.
You will notice the card below doesn’t have a sentiment. Instead it has a Red Velvet Poinsettia flower with a Beaded Pearl in the middle.
