How Do I Put Shimmer Paint Into A Spritzer?

1. Fill a Spritzer bottle 3/4 full with Isopropyl Alcohol.
2. Shake the Shimmer Paint. The ball bearing inside the container helps mix the Shimmer Paint.
3. Add a few drops of Shimmer Paint and put the lid on.
4. Shake it well. Spray it carefully onto your project. If you feel it doesn’t have enough shimmer, then add a drop or two more of Shimmer Paint. If you feel that you added too much Shimmer Paint, if there is room in the bottle, you can top it up with a little more Isopropyl Alcohol to dilute it a little if you wish. Don’t fill it up too much, as you still need to put the lid on and you don’t want it to over flow.

Tips when using Shimmer Paint in a Spritzer:

• When spraying, move away from your work area or hold the project is a small box or covered area, so the spray doesn’t go in areas where you don’t want it to go.
• Don’t hold the Spritzer too close to the project or you will get a very concentrated spray. Hold you arm back from the project and spray. You can always add more, but you can’t take it away once it has been sprayed.
• It is better to use Isopropyl Alcohol with Shimmer Paint rather than water as it dries quicker.
• If you used a Spritzer with water and Shimmer Paint and you spray it on a stamped image, the ink would run.
• 70% Isopropyl Alcohol is best. If you have one with a higher alcohol level, you may find that it doesn’t spray too well and it squirts instead. If this is the case, dilute the Isopropyl Alcohol with water so the alcohol content is less.
• Don’t make too much up at once. If you make it up and you don’t use it all, that is okay. You can keep it. Make sure you shake the Spritzer bottle really well before you use it next time.
