This note card is a great example of simple stamping featuring the Incredible Like You stamp set. Simple stamping means only using stamps, ink and cardstock in your project. This is something that I sometimes find hard to do!
This was the card I gave to my customers who placed an order with me back in January. I just realised the other day that I hadn’t shared it with you yet.
The colours I used in this card were; Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Real Red and Night of Navy.
I love the way the two-step stamping gives you the two shades of red in the flower, which gives more dimension to the card. The Incredible Like You stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set which allows you to see when you are lining it up. I have also used two-step stamping with the stem of the flower, which helps create a shadowing effect.
When I created this card, I stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock which was slightly smaller than the card front. When I was happy with my stamped image, I adhered it to a note card. That way, if I did mess up my stamping, I could simply turn it over and have another go on the other side.
As you can see from the photo above, I also like to stamp the envelope.
Here is a close up of the card.
Product ListUnfortunately, this stamp set is not continuing into the new Annual Catalogue releasing in June. However, if you do like it, now would be the time to purchase it.

Why not give simple stamping a try as I did with this card? I used the Incredible Like You stamp set, but you may find a stamp set in your supplies that you may like to try instead. Remember to only use stamps, ink and cardstock – feel free to send me a photo of your creation if you wish.
