There’s something timeless about a wreath design at Christmas, and this Joyful Tidings Christmas card captures that perfectly. In this week’s live, I created a simple yet elegant card featuring the Joyful Tidings stamp set, paired with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and the warmth of Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
By adding a few small details—like sponging the edges of the main die-cut shape, colouring rhinestones red for berries, and adding some ribbon—you can bring out a festive feel without making the design complicated. It’s the kind of project that works beautifully whether you need to make just a few cards or a whole stack to send out for Christmas.

Inspired by the Mini Catalogue
The inspiration for this Joyful Tidings Christmas card came straight from the Mini Catalogue. One of the samples featured a beautiful gift box decorated with the same wreath design, and I loved how it showcased the stamp set. From there, I adapted the idea to create a card, keeping the same natural colours and adding a few personal touches like sponged edges, layered mats, and coloured rhinestones for berries.
Joyful Tidings card variations
During the live, I shared a couple of different looks with this design. One featured a crisp white tag for a clean finish, while another had sponged crumb cake edges for a more rustic, vintage style. Both versions paired perfectly with the dark woodgrain background, and I love how the rhinestone berries pop against the greenery.

You can also step the card up by layering with mats in coordinating cardstock or keep it simple with just the stamped wreath and sentiment.

Either way, the Joyful Tidings stamp set makes it easy to create a card that feels festive, classic, and handmade.
