The Kraft Note Cards are great for making some quick and simple cards. These Note Cards come with envelopes and they also come with a box that you put together yourself. This box is perfect for putting in some of the note cards that you create and giving as a gift to someone.
For these note cards, I wanted to use up some Designer Series Paper [DSP] scraps that I had left over. I have used the retired Splendid Day Specialty DSP. I love the shine from the foil of this paper.
Here are the measurements for the pieces of DSP:
I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it out with the smaller oval punch from the Double Oval punch. The sentiments are from the Wildflower Path stamp set. They are small and fit well into the oval shape. The scalloped oval, which frames the sentiment, is cut out from 6″ x 6″ Kraft cardstock which, unfortunately, is retiring soon. This Kraft cardstock coordinates perfectly with the Kraft Note Cards. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added some of my favourite embellishments – Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
To decorate the box, I created a bellyband to wrap around it, so it can slide off and the box can be opened. I stamped one of the images from the Splendid Thought stamp set with Soft Seafoam ink onto a Stitched Shapes circle die-cut, cut out from Soft Seafoam cardstock. This circle also helps hide the join.
Here are the supplies I used.
Please note that once a product retires, it won’t show on this supply list. The Splendid Day Specialty DSP and Splendid Thoughts stamp set won’t be on this list. Also, the 6″ x 6″ Kraft Cardstock will no longer be on this list from 2nd May 2023.
