This Music Card features the new Music From the Heart stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. It was a card that I made for my daughter’s 9th birthday. She likes pink, enjoys music and likes to play the piano, so I thought this would be the perfect card for her.
It may be a little difficult to tell from the photo, but the bright pink/Melon Mambo card front has been texture embossed with the Subtles embossing folder.
The stave was stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Memento tuxedo black ink and then the treble clef and heart notes stamped on top of this. The hearts were coloured in with a Melon Mambo marker pen. The piano was stamped, coloured and fussy cut, then adhered to the card with Mini Dimensionals.
I also stamped some more heart notes inside along with the keyboard.
The happy birthday sentiment is also from this stamp set.
This stamp set was designed by a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who has achieved 1,000,000 (US) in Stampin’ Up! sales. This is certainly a big achievement! When a demonstrator achieves this, they get to travel to Utah, which is when the home office for Stampin’ Up! is, meet some of the Stampin’ Up! staff, have a tour of the place, see what happens at Stampin’ Up! as well as help design a stamp set with those who usually designer Stampin” Up! stamps. This stamp set was inspired by Dawn Olchefske, who is from the State of Minnesota.
Product ListThe Music From the Heart stamp set is one of my favourites as I like music and I play and teach the piano . It is also a great stamp set to use for others who love music too. I hope you too will have fun with it as you make a Music Card.
