Here are some beautiful monochromatic 2024-2026 In Color cards featuring the Layered Florals embossing folder for the background. These cards also showcase various In Color products, including cardstock, Designer Series Paper (DSP), ribbon, and Shimmer Gems.

I made these cards last month for my In Color Club participants. Each month, they receive a handmade card in the colour of the month. The club runs for five months, and by the end, participants have all five In Colors: Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, and Sky Shamrock.

To make these cards, I started by embossing a piece of coloured cardstock with the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder. I adhered two pieces of DSP to a piece of Basic White cardstock, leaving a border around the edge, and added ribbon to cover the join between the two pieces of DSP. I then adhered this DSP piece to the middle of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. After stamping the sentiment and punching it out with a circle punch, I added three In Color Shimmer Gems to finish off the card. The combination of the textured background and the DSP creates a beautiful contrast that really makes the colours pop.

Here are the cards in the five different colours:

This card idea wasn’t an original creation of mine. I found it on Pinterest, but the pin didn’t attribute the original creator. Despite various searches, I couldn’t find the original source. If anyone knows who created this design, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
