Here is a Christmas tree card featuring the Perfectly Plaid bundle from the Wrapped in Plaid Suite. The bundle consists of the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and the Pine Tree punch. It is one of my favourite bundles in the new catalogue.
This card features a mixture of both stamped and cut out trees from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper. I love the shape of these trees and having a punch to cut them out makes it so easy!
One of the trees consists of two separate stamps so you can stamp the tree part in one colour and then the trunk in another. I stamped the tree part first in Shaded Spruce ink, punched it out, and then stamped the trunk in Soft Suede ink. By punching the tree shape out after stamping it, it was easy to tell where I needed to stamp the trunk.
The Subtles 3D embossing folder adds a nice subtle texture to the background. After texture embossing it, I cut the piece out with the Stitched Rectangles dies, which nicely adds a stitched border.
Once I had all the stamped and punched out trees that I needed, I mounted them on the card front with Mini Dimensionals.
The coordinating Shaded Spruce and Gold ribbon added to both ends of the sentiment finished off the card.
