This Petal Pink Wreath Card is not your traditional green and red Christmas card. Instead it uses Petal Pink, creating a lovely soft look. It was one of the cards I taught at my class in October.
The card uses the Cottage Wreath Bundle which is a lovely set for creating Christmas cards. The card also uses vellum in three different ways on this card. It has been die-cut it, heat embossed it with White Emboss Powder and dry embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder on the background.
The lovely foil paper that I have used for the banner and as one of the wreath layers is the Rose Gold Specialty Paper. It is lovely it comes in iridescent, matte, metallic. I have used the metallic one of this card.
The ribbon is also lovely and easily missed in the catalogue. It is white, with a tinge of pink and glittery. It is the Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Here is a close up of the wreath:

This card wasn’t an original idea. In fact it was taught to me by Ellen de Wildt at our team demonstrator retreat back in August. I loved it so much, and so did one of my customer who saw it on display, that I decided to teach it in my class.
If you would like to learn how to make cards like this, check out my class calendar for any future classes.
For this card I mainly used the dies from the Country Wreath dies which are part of the Cottage Wreath Bundle. The stamps in this bundle also allow for more possibilities.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Petal Pink Wreath Card and perhaps you will have a go and make some Christmas cards using some non traditional colours.
