These cards each have a lovely bright and colourful Pigment Sprinkles background. I had fun creating them. I used three of the Pigment Sprinkles colours – Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody. Each background is unique with some colours more dominant than others.
The butterfly in each of the four cards above has been heat embossed. Each card has a different coloured emboss powder. The card on the top left has black emboss powder. The top right has white emboss powder. The bottom left has copper emboss powder and the bottom right has gold emboss powder. Which one do you like the most?
Here is a close up of each card.
I think the black emboss powder stands out the most, but the pigment sprinkles background on each card is very different so this may play a part in which one you like!
To make these cards, I stamped and heat embossed the butterfly first and added the Pigment Sprinkles after that. As I used water with the Pigment Sprinkles, I needed to use a cardstock that was suitable for water. For these cards I used Shimmery White cardstock.
Once the background was dry, I adhered it to a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then onto a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock for the card base. You can let the Pigment Sprinkles dry on their own, but it does take time. I sped up the process by using my Heat Tool to dry it.
