The rock salt technique is a great way to create an interesting background for your card.
I taught this technique at my class last month. This card also features the Daisy Lane stamp set.
Water was used on the background with ink, so I needed to use cardstock that would absorb the water. For this, I used Shimmery White cardstock. The salt that was then placed on the cardstock absorbed some of the ink, which created an interesting watercolour effect.
This card has different layers to give it more depth and interest. The stitched edge on the middle piece creates a nice focal point. This was done with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
The colour of the flower and card base is Rococo Rose, which is one of the new 2019-2021 In Colors. It is possibly becoming one of my favourites.
The daisy flower on this card is the larger flower from the stamp set and uses the larger Daisy punch. There is also a new medium-sized Daisy punch. If you purchase the Daisy Lane stamp set as a bundle with 10% off, you will get the medium-sized daisy punch.
