Today’s card is another creation featuring the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set. It is a panel card featuring an autumn scene with this week’s stamp set. This card was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest which originally came from Splitcoast Stampers, but sorry I don’t know a name to mention here.
I stamped the tree onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was 9cm x 9cm. The tree was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and the leaves in Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler ink. I then cut the piece of card into three pieces, 3cm wide each. I mounted it onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler which was 13.3cm x 9.5cm, slightly spacing the panels apart. I tied a piece of Crushed Curry Ribbon on the remaining piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I used the Modern Label Punch to cut out the sentiment “For you” which is only part of one of the sentiment stamps from this stamp set. This punch will be retiring on 2nd June. I really like using this punch for sentiments. It can be used on its own and it also works really well with the Word Window Punch and the Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set in clear or wood. If you don’t yet have the Modern Label Punch and have been wondering about purchasing it, make sure you get it now while it is still available.
