Yesterday I showed you a photo of a card with the Flowers from Flower Shop and then I embossed the stamped card front to give it some texture too. Today’s cards feature that same technique, but I have chosen the Simply Stars set to create a more boyish card and different colours. I have really enjoyed using the Simply Stars stamp set and will miss it when it retires. If you would like to get your hands on this stamp set, you have until 30th June to do so. The clear set is already sold out, but it is still available in wood. One of the colours I used was Midnight Muse. This is also an In Colour that will be retiring. I will miss this also.

You will notice a few variations between the two cards. I have alternated the colours for the base of the card and the matting. One has the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and the other has the Stylish Stripes one. I have also used different stamp sets for the Happy Birthday. I would love to hear which combination you prefer.
