In the weekend I had my monthly Sunday afternoon card class. With Father’s Day coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to include a masculine card in my class. Originally I saw a lovely card made by Paula Reid using the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set which I really liked. I adapted this slightly to make a more masculine card.
The card on the left includes the colour Soft Sky and a butterfly which makes if a more feminine card. I changed that colour to Night of Navy and didn’t include the butterfly, and this help create a more masculine card.
If you look at both cards you will notice that the hexagons are arranged a little differently. The one on the left has the point at the top. The card on the left has them with a flat edge at the top and bottom. You can choose how you like to arrange them, as long as they all fit in.
There are also some hexagon shapes inside the card too.
At my class, I gave them the choice of making either card. Most choose to do the masculine one. Here are their creations.

I am holding this class again tonight, and on Friday morning. If you would like to come to my class and make this card, along with another card and box, please contact me as soon as possible.
Have a great day.
