If you love getting a head start on new crafting products, you’re going to love this week’s project featuring the beautiful Impressions Abloom stamp set — part of the upcoming Online Exclusives — along with some of the gorgeous new 2025–2027 In Colors from the Annual Catalogue, both available from 6th May.

Today’s card layout was actually based on a design we created at OnStage earlier this year. I always find it exciting to get early access to new products and ideas at these special demonstrator events — just one of the many perks of being part of the Stampin’ Up! family!
A Fresh Look at the 2025-2027 In Colors
During this week’s live, I showcased four of the stunning new In Colors:
Strawberry Slush (a returning favourite!)
Darling Duckling
Timid Tiger
Secret Sea
For the card itself, I stamped one large flower each in Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger, along with two smaller flowers in Strawberry Slush. Each flower has a contrasting centre to make the colours really pop.
For the stems and leaves, I used Granny Apple Green — not a new In Color, but a lovely fresh green that complements the others beautifully. I stamped the sentiment using Secret Sea, adding a soft, subtle touch to tie everything together.
In the video, I also shared a few handy tips, including how to extend the short stem stamp to create longer stems — a simple technique that adds a lot to the finished design!
After stamping the piece of Basic White cardstock, I cut it twice, creating four angled sections. I then adhered it to the card base, letting the vibrant colours show through the gaps. It’s a simple twist that adds real interest to the finished card.
Comparing the Different Versions
The card using Timid Tiger is the one we made at OnStage, and the Timid Tiger strips showing through the design are about 4mm (or 1/4″) wide. After that, I made another card with Darling Duckling, where the gaps are slightly wider — probably about 5mm.
During the live, I created a third card using Strawberry Slush. I aimed for a 4mm gap again, but when you look closely, the strips are slightly different widths, which gives a different effect again.
There’s no right or wrong — it’s all about playing with the look until you’re happy with it!
Here’s a look at each of the versions:

Why I Love Being a Demonstrator!
One of the reasons I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the opportunity to attend events like OnStage. These events are packed with inspiration, new techniques, and, of course, early access to exciting new products. They’re also a wonderful chance to meet others who share a passion for crafting.
If you’ve ever thought about joining Stampin’ Up! — whether for the discount, the community, or simply to fuel your own crafting passion — please feel free to reach out. I’d love to share more with you!
Watch the Full Live Replay
Rather than walk you through every step here, I encourage you to watch the replay to see the card come together. It’s much easier to see the stamping, cutting, and assembling the card in action — plus, I share some extra tips along the way.
I can’t share a link to the supplies just yet, as they won’t be available until 6th May.
If you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and would like a complimentary copy of the new Annual Catalogue, you can request one by filling in your details here.
I’d Love to Hear from You!
If you watch the replay, I’d love to hear which In Color is your favourite or what you think of the Impressions Abloom stamp set. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know — it’s always wonderful to hear what you think about creating with Impressions Abloom!
