Sneak Peek – Motorbike Card With Geared Up Garage

By | 24 December 2018

Here is a motorbike card featuring some of the products that will be coming out in the Occasions catalogue on 3rd January 2019.  I love the new Classic Garage Suite.  It’s perfect for masculine cards!

This card features the Geared Up Garage stamp set, Garage Gear Thinlits Dies and the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper.

I cut the gears out of one of the Crushed Curry sheets of Designer Series Paper.  All the gears are one die, so they all get cut out at once! The grey background is from the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper and I have also fussy cut the motorbike from a different sheet from the same Designer Series Paper pack.

The stamp set didn’t have a Happy Birthday stamp, so I used the one from Perennial Birthdays stamp set for this card.  I used one of the dies from the Garage Gears thinlits dies to cut out the shape, and I stamped the three nuts to fill in the bottom space.  To add the Soft Suede matting around the die cut shape, I cut two of the same shape  I then cut each one in a particular way, and adhered it to the back.  Here is a video showing you how I did it.  The cut out stamped piece is a different shape, but the same principle applies.

I think this will be a popular suite in the Occasions catalogue.  If you like it, make sure you get it early as sometimes the masculine stamp sets sell out fast!

If you would like a copy of the upcoming Occasions catalogue, I would be happy to send you one if you live in New Zealand and don’t already have a demonstrator.  If you do have a demonstrator, please contact them for a catalogue.  If you would like a copy from me, please fill in your details here.

The Occasions catalogue goes live on Thursday 3rd January, when you’ll be able to purchase this amazing Classic Garage Suite.
