Here is the other project we made at my class last weekend. It is a lovely star shaped gift box.
One of my customers received a gift box like this from the Extravaganza in July as a door prize. She was very impressed with it and said she would really like to know how to make it. It was made by Narelle. Narelle kindly shared how she made it and I also was inspired by Tracy May‘s creation of it too. I then made the above two as samples for my class.
The Star Gift Box was made with the Simply Scored Tool and Envelope Punch Board. With Father’s Day only two weeks away here in New Zealand, I gave the ladies a choice of either the Baked Brown Sugar with stars, a more masculine one, or the striking Blackberry Bliss one with the gold Flower Shop flowers.
The Baked Brown Sugar one uses the new Decorative Masks which is a great way to create a background on a card or large space. I also used the Star framelits dies as tags and decoration on the box.
My customers came up with some great variations of decorating their boxes too.
