The Hang An Ornament bundle is one of the beautiful new additions from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalogue. This coordinating stamp and die set offers so many possibilities for your Christmas crafting! Whether you’re looking for elegant ornaments or a timeless holiday theme, this bundle has you covered.
This week, during my live session on Facebook & YouTube, I made a card using the Hang an Ornament bundle. I used the Seasons of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper as the background, which provided a lovely, sophisticated backdrop for the ornaments.
For the ornaments, I focused on a Real Red and Gold colour scheme, and the results are truly stunning:
- One ornament was stamped in Real Red, and I added a die-cut piece of red glimmer paper to give it that extra sparkle.
- The second ornament was gold-embossed on Real Red cardstock, and I paired it with the stamped sentiment “All is Merry,” adding a die-cut piece in gold behind the sentiment for added elegance.
Both ornaments were ‘hung’ with a gold ribbon from the Silver and Gold Trim. To achieve this look, it’s important to attach the gold trim to your DSP before adhering the panel to the card front – a small but essential tip to ensure your card has a polished finish.
I think the combination of Real Red and Gold really brings out the festive spirit, making this card perfect for the upcoming Christmas season.
