The Silicone Craft Sheet is an essential item in any stamper’s craft kit! It has so many uses. You can check out five great uses for it here!
Once you have used it, it can get very sticky, so you may be wondering what is the best way to clean it?
I used to put it in soapy water and that works reasonably well, but recently I heard of another way to clean it. I tried it and I really like this idea. I found it worked really well. Why not give it a try!
How to clean your Silicone Craft Sheet:
- Immerse your mat in very hot water with a squeeze of lemon juice in it, for 5-10 minutes.
- Carefully remove it from the water (don’t burn yourself if the water is still hot).
- Rub the adhesive residue off with your fingertips or a paper towel.
If you have a Silicone Craft Sheet that is sticky with residue, why not give this method a try and see how you find it. Please let me know which method you prefer. Washing it in warm soapy water, or soaking it in lemon juice? Which gives you the better results?
