Today’s tip is about the Precision Base Plate for the Big Shot which was introduced by Stampin’ Up! earlier this year. This is great to the use when cutting very intricate dies. Once you have put your die through your Big Shot using the Precision Plate, you can use the Big Shot Die Brush to press out all the little pieces.
Check out this video on how to use the Precision Base Plate.
It is often possible to fussy cut your stamped image, but using a die or punch is much quicker and you get a much cleaner, finished look.
The very intricate dies shown below, which are on page 194 of the new Annual Catalogue, require the Precision Base Plate when cutting.
If you don’t yet have a Big Shot, you may like to add it to your wish list. It is a must have for all paper-crafters. And remember the Precision Base Plate and Die Brush are a great addition too.
