Two Butterflies – the same but different

By | 17 February 2015

Welcome to the second day of my new weekly blog feature.  Each Monday I will feature a Stampin’ Up! stamp set, bundle or product.  On the following Tuesday and Wednesday I will feature the same product and show other ways to use it.

This week’s featured product is the Butterfly Basics bundle which includes the stamp set and the Butterfly Thinlit Dies.  Yesterday’s card featured a stamped butterfly cut out with the smallest thinlit butterfly die.  Today’s card features the largest thinlit butterfly die.

I would have really liked to have used the new Spring Flower embossing folder for the textured background on this card, but I haven’t yet purchased it.  It is a lovely embossing folder and I will be purchasing it soon, as we will be using it at the Extravaganza event.  So if you are coming to the Extravaganza on 28th March, you too will get to use this lovely new embossing folder along with lots of other exciting new products from the Occasions catalogue.

I also decided to make this same style card, but in a different colour combination.    Here is the card in Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.

I would love to hear which colour combination you prefer?  Please comment below.  I think I prefer the Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive combination, but I still like both.
