The Poinsettia Window Card is a card with a difference! The card has a window panel in the middle which allows you to see the inside of the card.
The main feature on the front of this card is the four layered poinsettia flower which has been cut out of the Red Velvet Paper with the Poinsettia dies. This die set has three dies which cut out the shape of the flower and another one that is placed in the inside it that embosses the petals. The smallest layer of petals is a single die.
The leaves have been cut out of Old Olive cardstock and sponged on the edges. Having two leaf dies in the sets means they can both be cut out at the same time, which makes things easier. These dies also come in two parts – one that cuts the outside layer and another that embosses the middle. The sprigs and centre of the flower have been cut out of a Silver Foil Sheet.
The patterned paper above and below the window panel is the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper [DSP]. This is currently on sale with 15% until 31st October 2020. The Sheer Red Ribbon is also part of the suite.
When I stamped the sentiment inside the card I had to make sure I stamped it in the space where the window was. I also stamped some poinsettia flowers in the window space, so the written message doesn’t end up showing in the window space.
