Noel Greetings kit alternatives are a lovely way to make more Christmas cards with your Paper Pumpkin supplies and a few extras. In this week’s live, I shared the two original card designs from the October kit, some simple variations from my team member Lin, and ideas for making the patterned card bases go further.
You can follow the kit instructions and enjoy having everything coordinated for you, or change a few things to make the cards your own. There’s plenty of inspiration in the video, whichever way you prefer to craft!

A Look at the Noel Greetings Paper Pumpkin Kit
The Noel Greetings kit makes ten Christmas cards, with five each of two designs. One features a wreath and a Noel greeting, while the other has a little house surrounded by foliage. The patterned card bases and coordinating envelopes help bring everything together beautifully.
The kit includes a stamp set, a Mossy Meadow ink spot, precut pieces, and adhesives. Its Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and neutral colours give the cards a traditional Christmas feel. If you enjoy the Neutral Noel suite, you may recognise some familiar shapes and details.

Noel Greetings Kit Alternatives with Extra Cardstock
For my alternatives, I used Thick Basic White card bases and divided the kit’s patterned card bases into separate panels. Because the pattern is on both the front and back, there’s a lovely opportunity to use those panels on separate cards.
I demonstrated two cards using the house-design supplies, sharing the kit pieces between them and adding extra stamping. The little tree stamp creates a lovely background behind the house, while stamped foliage adds interest around the greetings. Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler cardstock help frame the designs and tie the colours together.

I also shared two wreath-design alternatives. These use an extra decorative panel from the kit, so you may like to adjust the backgrounds depending on which pieces you have left. Even a narrow strip trimmed from another card can become a useful detail!

Watch the Video for More Ideas
In the video, you’ll see how I put the house-design alternatives together and explain the wreath variations. I also share a handy way to colour the edge of white cardstock with the kit’s ink spot if you don’t have matching Mossy Meadow cardstock. It’s a useful trick for creating a coordinating border with supplies you already have.
Whether you make your kit as designed or try a few alternatives, I hope these ideas encourage you to enjoy your supplies and have a little play. There’s no need for every card to look exactly the same.
Which do you prefer—the original designs or the alternatives? Please let me know in the comments. If you would like to find out more about Paper Pumpkin or subscribing through me, please get in touch. I’d be happy to help.
