One Sheet Wonder stamping is a great way to create four beautiful handmade cards from just one piece of stamped cardstock. It’s a simple and enjoyable technique that doesn’t require lots of supplies, making it ideal for beginners and experienced card makers alike.
In this last week’s Facebook and YouTube Live, I shared how to create four floral cards using the Opulent Oasis stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Rather than stamping each card individually, I stamped one larger piece of Basic White cardstock, cut it into four sections, and turned each piece into a card.
I love that you can get four different cards from the same stamped design, and each one looks a little different depending on how you position it.

What Is One Sheet Wonder Stamping?
You may have come across One Sheet Wonder card making before, particularly using Designer Series Paper. The idea is to use one sheet of paper to create several cards, making the most of your supplies.
For these cards, I’ve used stamping instead of patterned paper.
The idea is to stamp flowers and leaves across the centre of a larger piece of cardstock, then cut it into four smaller panels. Each panel becomes the front of a different card.
It’s a great way to make several cards at once, particularly when you need a few thank you cards, birthday cards, or cards to have on hand for different occasions.
Creating Floral Cards with the Opulent Oasis Stamp Set
For this project, I chose the Opulent Oasis stamp set. It has some lovely floral and leaf images, along with useful sentiments such as Best Wishes, Special Thanks, and Sending Happy Thoughts.
I used three of the 2026–2028 In Colors:
- Crisp Cantaloupe for the larger flowers
- Golden Glow for the smaller flowers
- Peaceful Pine for the leaves and sentiments
These colours work beautifully together, with the soft peach flowers contrasting against the darker green leaves and touches of yellow.
I also used Peaceful Pine cardstock for the card bases, with either Crisp Cantaloupe or Golden Glow cardstock for the layers.

From One Stamped Sheet to Four Cards
The main thing with this One Sheet Wonder stamping technique is to think about where you position your stamped images.
Rather than filling the entire sheet, I concentrated most of the stamping around the centre, both vertically and horizontally. This meant that when I cut the cardstock into four pieces, each section had part of the floral design while still leaving some white space for a sentiment.
I actually experimented with a couple of different layouts before settling on the design I preferred.
My first attempt had quite a lot of leaves, and some of the cards didn’t show as much of the flowers as I would have liked. For the next version, I adjusted where I stamped the larger flowers to give each card a better balance of flowers and leaves.
That’s part of the fun of trying something new! Sometimes you need to experiment a little to see what works best.

Once the sheet was cut, I could turn the individual panels around to see which orientation worked best. Some became portrait cards, while others looked better in landscape.
I then added a coordinating cardstock layer, stamped a sentiment, and finished the cards with a few embellishments.
You can keep the cards completely flat with just stamping, or add some extra detail if you prefer. On one of my earlier cards, I even added a punched sentiment to cover up some stamping that wasn’t quite straight!

One Sheet Wonder Card Measurements
For these cards, I used the following measurements:
| Card component | Measurements |
|---|---|
| Basic White stamped panels | 9.5 cm × 13.8 cm |
| Coloured cardstock layers | 10 cm × 14.3 cm |
| Card base | 14.85 cm × 21 cm, scored at 10.5 cm |
The original stamped piece measures 19 cm × 27.6 cm, which is then divided into four equal panels.
You can easily adapt these measurements to suit your preferred card size.

Would you like to see how these cards came together?
In the video below, I demonstrate the stamping, explain how I position the flowers and leaves, and show how I cut the sheet into four card fronts.
You’ll also see how I decide which way to position each card, add sentiments, and finish them with a few embellishments.
It’s a technique you can easily adapt using stamps and ink colours you already have in your craft collection.
Give One Sheet Wonder Stamping a Try
One of the things I particularly like about this technique is that you don’t need lots of different products to create something lovely. A few stamps, coordinating ink colours, cardstock, and a paper trimmer are enough to get started.
You could try it with different floral stamps, leaves, or other images from your collection. You might even experiment with different colour combinations or use a smaller stamp set to create a completely different look.
And because you’re creating four cards at once, it’s a useful way to build up your supply of handmade cards ready to send to friends and family.
I hope these One Sheet Wonder stamping ideas have inspired you to give this technique a go. Watch the video, choose some stamps from your collection, and see what you can create!
Have you tried One Sheet Wonder stamping before? I’d love to hear what stamps and colours you use, and you’re very welcome to share photos of your finished cards.
